The organization we now know as the Boy Scouts of America, or BSA, was founded by Chicago publisher William Boyce in 1910.

Boy Scout Troop 352 is led by Mike Poelzer and Don Anderson, and meets at the church every Monday at 7:00 PM

at
Highline United Methodist Church

Boy Scouts of America (BSA)

Traditionally, Scouts enter the organization through the Cub Scouts in dens, beginning as Tigers and eventually through hard work and dedication, he takes flight as an Eagle.  Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation's largest organizations for youth, with nearly three million members - and boasting more than 1 million adult leaders.  BSA offers educational and character-building programs emphasizing leadership, citizenship, personal development, and physical fitness.  In addition to traditional scouting programs (Tiger, Cub, Webelos, and Boy Scouts, ranging up to Eagle rank), it offers the Venturing program for boys and girls ages 14-20.

We congratulate Don Anderson who was honored  with he Silver Beaver Award given by the Chief Seattle Boy Scout Council of Seattle.
